About the project:
This apartment is located amongst the city skyline and enjoys views to Sydney's great icons, the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. The apartment required an upgrade to the kitchen, bathrooms and general level of finishes that would reflect the sophisticated location and views.

This build proved to be quiet challenging as we were restricted in taking all materials, tools and equipment via standard residents lifts 18 levels above ground level to the apartment foyer. All lift access required pre planning to ensure that we were able to cause the least amount of disturbance to the other residents.

The design concept started as a black and white theme, which allowed for integration with existing finishes and decorative elements that remain unchanged. New finishes include granite bench top with leathered finish, black cork flooring, striped and tonal sisal carpets and a bold black, white and rust paint palette throughout.

The elegant black and white theme, together with the burnt orange/rust coloured paintwork and timber highlights has seamlessly merged the existing and new elements. The design has also provided a great setting for loose furniture and decorative items that evoke a sense of luxury and style.
